I am a researcher aimed to understand climate change projections at regional scale. It is important to know the possible future changes in mean and extremes of Indian summer monsoon (ISM) due to global warming which has an immense impact on the agricultural production, livelihood of farmers and the economy of India. I try to quantify the projected future changes in mean and extremes of the ISM at the local scale using high-resolution regional climate model. Expert knowledge in WRF-ARW model for weather/climate applications and CAMx chemical transport model for dispersion modelling. Gained extensive experience in porting and running numerical models in the high performance computing (HPC) environment and handling large volumes of datasets.
